Al Bolton recently reported some unexpected income that he thinks should begin the fund for our next reunion! After years of perseverance and much paperwork by Al, PNC bank has sent a check for the grand sum of $273 and change, the last portion of an unclaimed pension due to Ginny Tully. Both Al and Jeanne are due much credit for all they did to help Ginny including finding a placement where she was cared for in her final days. They took on the responsibility of handling her move, clearing out her apartment, and after her death, Al petitioned the court to enable him to legally settle her affairs. He has generously offered up this final payment that he’s entitled to to fund the next reunion. Thanks, Al! 2022 anyone?

...had much to be grateful for this Thanksgiving, starting with Sarah and Joel's wedding.
CLICK for a few wedding pictures taken on September 14th, also the day of the Ohio State-Indiana game, 51-10 (a wedding theme) and Bud's 75th birthday. A great day all around!
Jack, whose 78th birthday we celebrated at the reunion, is looking forward to a full recovery after a minor cerebral episode in October. Naturally, the progress isn't fast enough for Jack, but his neurologist says it will take three full months so he's right on course.
Ryan will also make a full recovery from a car accident that occurred just before Thanksgiving, resulting in a broken ankle and lots of bumps and bruises. He recently moved up from a splint to a walking boot. Judging from the condition of his car, there is much to be thankful for that that was the extent of his injuries.
... also had much to be grateful for. As many of you know, we were nine people short at the reunion since Fred and his family wisely chose to take a detour to the hospital on the way to the reunion. Good choice, as the visit uncovered a problem and a stent resulted. Symptoms persisted and after another hospital visit and further tests, a defibrillator was implanted.
Here's the latest from Fred: "Unfortunately, while the stent and ICD (pacemaker/defibrillator combo) helped, they didn't fix everything. I still had problems with feeling light headed and like I was going to faint or pass out. My family doctor and I figured out that my blood pressure was up each time I had those feelings. Since we knew I had an 80 percent blockage in the right carotid artery and a 57 percent in the left, we thought that my brain was telling my heart to pump harder, since it wasn't getting enough blood flow. They operated and cleaned out my right carotid in November. So far, that seems to have finally cured or ended all of my symptoms."
Always grateful for a happy ending!

Coming soon-- the video of Mamaw's/Aunt Edna's 100th birthday party (1994) and a conversation with her on Mother's Day 1994.
Grady Lowden Kopech arrived August 28, 2020, weighing 8 lbs and measuring 19 inches. He is the great grandson of Dick and Frances Tully.
Thanks to Missy, I saw and now have a copy of the only picture I've ever seen that I know for sure is my great-grandmother, Nellie Lucinda McGrath Sprague.
And thanks to Chris Snapp for adding another house to the list that Grandpa (Tom Tully) designed, that of his grandparents. The story of how that happened was so fun the hear. I'll post it after I run it by him for accuracy.
"We could highlight a person and asked for submissions of anything directly related to that person. Then we could leave it up to "submitters" to determine what that meant exactly. I'm thinking of the 8 siblings (4 Tullys, 4 Spragues), highlighted--one month for each--Lots of "talk" and postings and pictures of documents about that one person ... and then the next month, another person. Then take a break for that to get organized (over 4 months or so) ..."
